Heading to Australian shores for the first time, 15-piece big-band powerhouse NOJO take to the stage alongside divine vocalist Dee Dee Bridgewater and revered trumpeter Irvin Mayfield to celebrate the thriving musical culture of New Orleans.
One of the greatest entertainers of her generation, Bridgewater will bring her powerful voice and irrepressible energy to traditional songs such as Big Chief, Saint James Infirmary and What a Wonderful World alongside original compositions inspired by the historic neighborhoods that gave rise to the jazz tradition.
