This Daddy-Daughter Duo Stole the Show on “At the ASU Kerr Center” Last Month (September)

International Jazz Day AZ Festival Producer / 504 Multimedia Publisher Doc Jones and Universal Recording Artist Daughter, Nayo Jones, blew the lid off Jazz night at the Kerr Center hosted by one of Tanner Church Lay Organization in Scottsdale AZ was a total success
“I have been in a debate with a Radio Program Director in Arizona if Nayo Jones’s music is really Classic Jazz “said Doc Jones. Her performance in Scottsdale left no question she is the real deal; “Whoever thinks her music is not Jazz you are flat out wrong” says Doc Jones. Last month, the best thing happening in Arizona was the musical duo of Doc Jones and his superstar daughter Nayo.
Mrs. Jones was a Surprise guest joining her father on stage at last month’s fundraiser for Tanner Church Lay Organization, at which she blow the audience away. Nayo brought her New Orleans brand of Jazz back home to AZ and they loved it.
Doc & Nayo are well known in Arizona for their award wining Jazz Night Club/Restaurant “Doc’s Place,” which served up live music and great food. They have gone on to make a name for themselves in other related areas. Nayo touring the country with New Orlean’s own, Kermit Ruffins, and Doc Jones building a name for himself with his entertainment magazines in 3 cities and 2 countries, as well as producing Arizona’s International Official Jazz Day Festival. They say good things come in pairs, and when it comes to this celebrity Daddy Daughter Duo, it seems this couldn’t be more true.
